Do you know that feeling of knowing that something good will happen? That feeling of knowing that you’re close to something great but you’re not quite there yet? That’s what I feel right now. I’m close to something that can be great, but I know I still have a long way to go until I get there. I haven’t felt this way for so long… Sometimes all you need is an unbreakable faith that things will work out in the end. The road is steep, bumpy, sometimes painful and, in my case and being completely honest, very often lonely. But it’s the road I chose to take, and is the one that will lead me to where I want to go. Being focused is not trivial, believing in myself, one simple ‘girl’ among so many brilliant and great people, is sometimes very difficult. But then my faith and resilience are there. And my passion for Science, which, for good or for bad, has carved my life.
